Kremlin says it has not heard that Nord Stream 2 is up for sale

The Kremlin said on Tuesday, in response to a report that a U.S. investor wanted to buy Nord Stream 2, that it had not heard that state-controlled gas giant Gazprom wanted to sell.

The Wall Street Journal reported that a U.S. financier was trying to buy Nord Stream 2.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Gazprom would not hand over its strategic resources to the United States.
