Trinamul Congress expels youth leaders Santanu Banerjee and Kuntal Ghosh. Both leaders were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the SSC recruitment scam.

This is the second set of disciplinary action against its leaders by the TMC in connection with the scam after it suspended former minister Partha Chatterjee from all positions in the party and in the state government.
