According to a family member of the revered family, their forefathers settled in Phoolbari from Uttar Pradesh during the 18th century.
Legend ahs it that the puja was launched to avert any threat from miscreants and since then, generations after geenratiosn have been abiding by the rituals at the Dalanbari.
