Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly is likely to deliver the lecture in this year’s Jagmohan Dalmiya Memorial Conclave, sources in the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) said.

An official announcement will be made later, with the conclave set to be held prior to the India-South Africa ODI at Eden Gardens on March 18.

The CAB, meanwhile, sent an email to the BCCI on Wednesday, requesting permission for Wriddhiman Saha’s participation in Bengal’s upcoming Ranji Trophy home match versus Delhi that begins from Monday. “But that’s subject to Saha’s fitness,” said a team source.

The CAB will also request former captain Manoj Tiwary to lead Bengal in the next match since regular skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran will be unavailable because of India A commitments in New Zealand.
