IPL 2020 has entered its business end and the competition has got intense and intriguing with a few upsets spicing up things.

Delhi Capitals, who have emerged as one of the strongest teams in this edition of the IPL, find themselves in an awkward position after losing their last two games. Not that their quest for a berth in the playoffs in under any risk at this stage, but they would still want to shrug off the defeats when they face Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai on Tuesday and pick up their eighth win of the season. That should be good enough for them to seal a playoffs place.

Capitals currently occupy the second spot in the standings with 14 points from 11 matches.

For David Warner’s Sunrisers, it’s a completely different story. Lack of consistency has hurt them this season and on Tuesday, they would play to stay relevant in the race for playoffs. With just 8 points from 11 games, their hopes hang by a thread and one more defeat would mean disaster.

Back-to-back defeats against Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab must have rattled Delhi Capitals. They possess an explosive batting department as well as a formidable bowling unit. They have not been dependent on any one person, as different players have raised their hands at different points in time to deliver the goods for the team.

However, apart from Shikhar Dhawan, the Delhi batsmen have been very inconsistent in the last three games. Against KKR, the Delhi batsmen crumbled under pressure, managing to put up only 139 runs in 20 overs while chasing 194. Opener Prithvi Shaw, who has been going through a lean patch, was replaced by Ajinkya Rahane.
