ATK Mohun Bagan’s Liston Colaco scored a delightful goal but missed two sitters in the 2-1 win against Hyderabad FC in an ISL VIII match on Tuesday which denied the forward a chance to net a treble.

Colaco, however, is not losing his sleep over the missed hat-trick. “It counts nothing. The main thing is we have logged full points. Yesterday’s (Tuesday) match was very important for us. To enter the top-four slot we had to win this match,” Colaco, who scored his sixth goal for ATK Mohun Bagan this season, said.

He, however, agreed that he should have converted those two open opportunities. “Yes that’s something I must work on. I am scoring goals from difficult positions but missing easy chances.

“I have spoken to coach (Juan Ferrando) and trying to rectify my mistakes. The good part is even though we are missing chances we are creating opportunities.”
