Argentina and Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi brought up his 700th career goal for club and country with a cheeky Panenka penalty against one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid, on Tuesday.

Incidentally, Messi’s great rival Cristiano Ronaldo took 112 more matches to hit 700.
It took the Portuguese 973 matches, scoring his 700th during Portugal’s 2-1 loss to Ukraine in October 2019.
