India will aim to regroup quickly and iron out the imbalances in their team combination when they face arch-rivals Pakistan in a crucial group A match of the Women’s T20 World Cup here on Sunday.

A 58-run defeat to New Zealand in their opener has not just dented India’s chances of entering the semi-finals but also pushed them to a tight corner.

Pakistan are riding high on confidence after beating a strong Sri Lanka in the first match on Thursday.

“This would be the game we would like to forget, because this is a World Cup. We need to keep moving on and keep picking ourselves up. We can’t stay stuck at this game. I think that will show the character of this team,” Jemimah Rodrigues said.

Rodrigues urged her teammates not to panic but to focus on the process.

“We know every game from here is so crucial for us. We’re going to go one game at a time,” she added
