Gourab Chatterjee looks charming in Abhisek Roy’s ‘Mahanagar’ collection

The homegrown brand has just launched their first collection of affordable menswear

Actor Gourab Chatterjee, in a modern day bhadrolok attire, took a tour of mahanagar Kolkata. From the Howrah bridge to the bazaars of north Kolkata, from riding a tram to the hand pulled rickshaw, Gourab went exploring Kolkata in stylish kurtas and pyajamas. The actor recreated the old Kolkata charm in a reel to launch Abhisek’s first collection of affordable menswear under the label ‘Roy’. The designer is also known for his beautiful Bengal-inspired pieces under the label Bohurupi Santiniketan, and has dressed many celebrities including Saif Ali Khan. The homegrown brand’s newly launched ‘Mahanagar’ collection portrays the old classics and contemporary Kolkata. Roy aims to feature homegrown modern Indian ways of dressing. The price starts from Rs 1,999 and the pieces will be soon available on their website and at their flagship store that opens on July 15.
