Zee5 has brought Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Tigers’ to OTT

The 2014 Danis Tanovic directorial is based on a pharmaceutical scandal in 1990s Pakistan

Zee5 recently unveiled a 7 minute long promo of their original film, Tigers. Originally screened in 2014, the film is directed by Bosnian filmmaker Danis Tanovic, and based on a pharmaceutical scandal in 1990s Pakistan, which was responsible for the death of hundreds of babies every day. Emraan Hashmi essays the role of Ayan, a pharmaceutical representative who uncovers the faulty formula and begins a dangerous battle against the huge corporation. This stirring film about how corporate greed can ruin lives, and the stakes of being a whistleblower is a must-watch for the times we live in, providing not just entertainment, but a lot to think about.
