Benedict Cumberbatch gives a cerebral performance in ‘Eric’ trailer

This time round, the ‘Sherlock’ actor will be seen in an emotional drama

A new limited series is about to release on Netflix, and it stars Benedict Cumberbatch. Titled Eric, the web series is a story of a father and his nine-year-old son. The emotional drama narrates the journey of Vincent, played by Benedict, who is in search of his missing son, Edgar. The ‘Sherlock’ actor plays a puppeteer behind a popular children’s show and hails from New York. Other than Benedict, the other two key actors in the series are Gaby Hoffmann and McKinley Belcher III. 

Eric releases on Netflix, on May 30.
