Don't miss Solanki Roy in a double role, in ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’ on Hoichoi

This Debaloy Bhattacharya-directed web series has dared to be different

Solanki Roy has had an interesting career trajectory so far. From playing the lead protagonist in popular serials like Katha Dilam, Ichche Nodee, Prothoma Kadambini and GaatChora, debuting in Tollywood opposite Jisshu Senguptaa in Baba Baby O to working in web series like Montu Pilot 2, Paap and Dhanbad Blues, Solanki has kept her onscreen roles diverse. 

Her latest project —- Boka Bakshote Bondi — is another feather in the actress’s cap. Directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, whose last directorial release was Shri Swapankumarer Badami Hyenar Kobole with Abir Chatterjee, the content on Boka Bakshote Bondi comes with a different storyline. The trailer shows Solanki Roy in a double role — an offscreen and an onscreen role — where Solanki gets stuck in the four walls of her onscreen character. She plays an actress, and a rude shock blurs the lines between her real and onscreen persona. 

Who will win? Will Solanki be stuck as Sondhamoni or will she manage to be her real self — Apala? Will acting, her last shot, change her whole life? Will a set of a serial replace her idea and understanding of life?

The web series releases on June 21 on Hoichoi. Answers to these questions are only a week away. Don’t forget to watch the show.
