Ishaa and Priyanka come together for ‘Nayika’

The two leading ladies of Tollywood are all set to act in the Rohan Bose directorial

Ishaa Saha and Priyanka Sarkar are set to star in a film together, and it is titled Nayika (Actress). The Bengali film is directed by Rohan Sen, who has previously donned the director’s hat for projects like Aparajitaa and Subho Bijaya. 

In the announcement teaser, Ishaa Saha can be seen in a glamorous avatar sporting an anti-fit striped shirt, bold red lips and wavy hair. Priyanka, who joins Ishaa, looks resplendent in a pink cotton sari, open hair and golden hoops. Ishaa proposes to make a women-centric film with no heroes in the teaser, to which Priyanka responds with apprehension. The teaser ends with the announcement of the name of the film — Nayika.

Nayika is slated for a Durga Puja release. Other Tollywood films also releasing during that time are Srijit Mukherji’s Tekka and Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Bohurupi.
