The teaser trailer for ‘How To Train Your Dragon’s live action adaptation is here!
Prepare to go on a warm and fuzzy adventure with Hiccup and Toothless
More than two decades after Cressida Cowell’s How to Train Your Dragon books entered pop culture, the franchise will finally get a live-action adaptation. Universal Pictures recently unveiled the teaser trailer of the film, which aims to bring a realistic touch to the iconic animated franchise by DreamWorks Animation. The clip gives us a glimpse of an underconfident Hiccup, who is trying to live up to his Viking legacy by slaying a dragon named Toothless, before accidentally forming a warm bond with him. With Mason Thames essaying the role of Hiccup and Gerard Butler reprising his role as Stoick from the animated films, this project has a nice blend of both originality and nostalgia, ensuring that the franchise gets a host of new fans while providing something new to the old ones. Expected to premiere next June, we can’t wait to watch this one on the biggest IMAX screen possible!
