The film is about two women from different generations forming an unlikely friendship

A familiar sweetness is returning to our screens, as SVF unveiled the official motion poster for Cheeni 2, directed by Mainak Bhaumik. The poster gives us the first glimpse of Madhumita Sarcar and Aparajita Adhya, who essay the role of two women who are united by friendship, despite coming from two different generations. The film is touted to be a non-traditional sequel to Bhaumik’s Cheeni, by exploring how the two friends undergo a journey of fulfilment and discovery in their own special ways. Bhaumik feels that the age gap is what prompted him to make the film, and explore the different ways in which human beings come together. Set to release in June, this film promises to tug at the heartstrings.
