Netflix unveils the new poster of ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’

The launch coincided with a new track, ‘Naram Kaalja’

The internet is abuzz with anticipation for Netflix’s new original film, Amar Singh Chamkila, based on the life of the sensational Punjabi singer who was assassinated in 1988. 

A newly launched poster and track for the film instilled fresh excitement in fans, who have been waiting to see Diljit Dosanjh bring alive the titular character. The poster comes in quick succession of a new song being released. Naram Kaalja has been rising up the charts, with Alka Yagnik’s melodious voice lending a spark to A. R. Rahman’s composition. With Parineeti Chopra essaying the role of Chamkila’s wife, Amarjot, this Imtiaz Ali film promises to be a compelling watch. Set to premiere on April 12, this is worth adding to your watchlist!
