Almost two decades ago, Avatar: The Last Airbender redefined anime storytelling, bringing innocence and charm to a story about world-ending stakes. Over the course of three perfect seasons, we fell in love with Aang, Sokka, Katara and Zuko, and experienced deeply profound stories about family, friendship and the power of good.  After years of hype, Netflix finally unveiled the first look of its live-action adaptation of the series. The casting, costumes and overall vibe of the show seems to be on point, and we can’t wait to immerse ourselves into the joy of bending elements yet again, when it premieres in 2024.  — Vedant Karia
