Andrew Scott shines in ‘Ripley’ trailer

Netflix has adapted Patricia Highsmith’s novel into a limited series

Tom Ripley has become something of a legend ever since his first appearance in Patricia Highsmith’s psychological-thriller novel. Andrew Scott is all set to bring the con man to life, for Netflix’s latest limited series, Ripley. Every frame of the show’s trailer is gorgeous, showcasing the beauty of 1960s Italy in monochrome. Created by Academy Award winner, Steve Zaillian, the clip shows Scott’s Ripley being hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy, and convince his son to return home. The world is made juicier with cops, criminals and industrialists, and the story promises to be full of thrill and deceit. With a promising ensemble cast which includes Dakota Fanning, Johnny Flynn, this will be one binge-worthy Netflix title. We can’t wait to watch it when it premieres on April 4.
