The streaming platform dropped the trailer for Wes Anderson’s The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, a visual adaptation of the 1997 short story collection by Ronald Dahl. The film follows a man who tries to learn how to see without using his eyes — just like an Indian guru — in order to misuse a sacred skill to gamble. Every frame screams Anderson’s brilliant production, amplified by a powerful ensemble including Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel and Ben Kingsley. Premiering on Netflix on September 27, this is one visual delight you don’t want to miss.
