The trailer of ‘Saving Bikini Bottom’ promises a new look into the SpongeBob SquarePants world

SpongeBob SquarePants and family are going to Texas, and we’re all invited! Netflix recently unveiled the trailer of Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie, a live-action + animated spin-off based on the popular Nickelodeon show, with Sandy Cheeks becoming the main character and SpongeBob playing second fiddle. The premise of the film is Bikini Bottom being pulled out of the ocean. SpongeBob and Sandy must not journey to his Texas home, meet Sandy’s family, and together save Bikini Bottom from an evil entrepreneur. The trailer references multiple classic SpongeBob gags while building a vivid visual world. Premiering on Netflix on August 2, this film is sure to ignite nostalgic childhood memories, giving new dimensions to characters we love.
