Do you have a love-hate relationship with kochu because it itches the throat? Well, maan kochu, or taro root, has been in Bengali kitchens since ages and offers a plethora of recipes as well as some great food options. Sienna Cafe’s sous chef Koyel Roynandi, who recently came to the kitchen of YouTube channel Bong Eats, made a few traditional maan kochu recipes. The chef, with a commendable culinary track record, made kochu bata, kochu paturi and kochu nara in the fifth episode of the series Rannaghare Ke? by the makers of Bong Eats —Saptarshi Chakraborty and Insiya Poonawala.
