Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk are two fathers brought together by a paternity test in ‘Bad Newwz’

Both men fight to woo Triptii Dimri in this upcoming Dharma film

‘Who is the father?’ Several films have explored the conundrum of complicated paternity, where there are two prospective fathers of one child. But what happens if there is no right answer?

This hilarious premise is the subject of Dharma Productions’ latest film, Bad Newwz. A follow up to 2019’s Good Newwz, this new film stars Triptii Dimri as the female protagonist who enjoys unabashed fun with attractive men, until she discovers that she is pregnant. Competing for the father’s slot are Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. The trailer, recently released by Karan Johar, shows these two Punjabi hunks being handed a huge reality check upon finding that they are both fathers, and must now do anything to win Triptii’s affection and push each other out of the race. We are certainly intrigued to know who ultimately wins in this battle, and will catch the film’s premiere on July 19.
