If Black Panther piqued your interest into African culture, Netflix has a special surprise for you. Jada Pinkett Smith’s newest venture with the production house is bringing stories of powerful female African rulers to the screen. The trailer for African Queens: Njinga teases the story of a fearless 17th century ruler in Ndongo and Matamba, set in present-day Angola. The inaugural season of the four-part docu-series drops on February 15.
