Hoichoi brings a hilarious twist to a sinister subject

The trailer of ‘Dugdugi’, where a man tries to find his missing wife, is packed with laughs

Hoichoi is back with another hilarious original, and the trailer of Dugdugi is a hoot from the first frame till the last. The show focuses on a middle-class ordinary man, Abanish, who’s life changes when his wife, Kumkum, goes missing. However, it keeps the stark subject fairly light and the clip is packed with jokes. There are also several classic Bengali idiosyncrasies, from lazy cops to gossiping relatives in the mix. Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the project has Anirban Chakrabarti and Biswanath Basu in prominent roles. We can’t wait for this laugh-a-thon to begin streaming on July 28!
