We get it, finding motivation to do anything after Durga Puja is hard. But luckily, we have just the pick-me-up for you! Amidst all the festive frenzy, the trailer of three huge titles just dropped, and we can’t keep calm. Here are all the things you need to add to your watchlist:
- Singham Again: The Singham franchise is returning for a third instalment after a long, long wait, and it promises to be bigger than ever. The recently released trailer promises a mega crossover within the Rohit Shetty Cop Multiverse, with Ranveer Singh’s Simmba, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, Tiger Shroff’s Satya and Deepika Padukone’s Shakti joining Ajay Devgn’s Singham to take on a villain far bigger than any of them have faced. With tons of action and masala to make a theatre come alive, make sure to watch this Diwali release on the biggest screen you can find.
- Squid Game Season 2: The South Korean dystopian survival thriller became one of Netflix’s most-watched shows of 2021. Centred around a divorced father and debt-ridden gambler who joins 455 players to partake in what seem to be ‘children’s games’ the first season redefined the reality TV concept with its metaness. This season promises his revenge arc, as Gi-hun returns to join the game again and settle scores with the Front Man. Watch the trailer here.
- Submerged: Apple has been trying to consistently push the boundaries of virtual reality with its Vision Pro, which was released last year. Packing astonishing capabilities, the tech giant is set to finally justify its even more astonishing price tag, with the first scripted short film, designed specifically for the Apple Immersive Video experience on the Vision Pro. Set against the backdrop of World War II, this film follows a group of sailors in the aftermath of a life-threatening torpedo attack, and promises to ‘change the future of filmmaking.
