‘Ahsoka’ joins Disney+ Hotstar’s budding ‘Star Wars’ universe

The limited series will premiere this August

The recently concluded Star Wars Celebration gave us our first look into the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar limited series, Ahsoka, developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. A spin-off based on The Mandalorian, this show deals with the events following the fall of the Empire, which are investigated by Ahsoka Tano. With orange lightsabers and a mention of the much-awaited ‘Heir to the Empire’ the stakes couldn’t be higher for this series. We hope it lives up to the hype when it premieres this August.
