Abhishek Bachchan brings laughs and heart in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want To Talk’

With dad bod, Pikachu boxers, and relentless optimism, this film follows a man who always looks at the bright side of life

Every Shoojit Sircar film is eagerly awaited, with few matching the director’s ability to pack in complex human emotions into slice-of-life dramas. His next seems just as promising, with Abhishek Bachchan being the face of I Want To Talk. The film’s poster sees the actor in a loose overcoat, showcasing his dad bod and Pikachu boxers. The accompanying teaser feels like a warm hug, with an Abhishek-shaped bobblehead wiggling over a car dashboard, as the actor’s voiceover talks about how… he loves and lives to talk. The film, which is about a man’s relentless optimism in the face of every adversity, promises to be a heartwarming watch, with both Abhishek and Shoojit known for capturing vulnerable characters very well.  Releasing on November 22, make sure to catch this on the big screen.
