Sandakphu becomes winter wonderland with season’s first snowfall!

The holiday season has kickstarted in Sandakphu, and the popular tourist destination looks like the perfect winter wonderland! The travel getaway has received the first snowfall of the season, and the glimpses are breathtaking. The pictures, shared by Instagram account @darjeelingtips, look straight out of a Christmas movie, and the stunning views of the pearl-white landscape, frosty bushes and haze-covered skies are sure to make you plan a trip soon. 

Located on the border of India and Nepal, Sandakphu offers views of four of the five highest peaks in the world, including Everest and Kangchenjunga. Known to be a thrilling option for trekkers, it also provides a wonderful view of the entire Kanchenjunga range for most of the trek. So if you’re craving a chilly vacation, start planning already!
