Riddhi Sen, who flew to the USA earlier this month to attend the NABC, has been sharing glimpses of his travel highlights on Instagram. The latest in his USA series captures a stunning sunset at Times Square, showcasing Riddhi’s talent for photography. His Instagram feed is a testament to his aesthetics — whether he’s capturing the cosy corners of his home, his lady love Surangana Bandyopadhyay, or his travel diaries. The award-winning actor has captioned the photos “Travelogue of the sun! From 42nd Street to 47th.””

“This was my second time in New York, and it was a ‘wow’ experience. But what I particularly admire about the city is, amidst all the growing technological advancements and the big corporate conglomerates settling there, the most charming and attractive thing about New York is the common citizens — the cultural energy and the power of the common are infectious,” shared the actor with My Kolkata.

If you are planning to go to the USA, you must add Times Square to your itinerary. You should also check the dates for Manhattanhenge and drop by Manhattan to experience this unique view. Manhattanhenge, a term coined by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, stems from Stonehenge in England, known for its unparalleled view of the summer solstice sunrise and winter solstice sunset. Manhattanhenge is not man-made or planned. The sunset view at the horizon of the streets happens because of how the streets were built in Manhattan. The grid system of the streets allows for a beautiful view of the sun as it aligns with each street. Riddhi’s sunset snapshots give a nod to Manhattanhenge, and we love how this young Tollywood talent creates art in various forms.
