We’ve been hearing buzz about bendable mobile phones for years now. Motorola recently changed the game by unveiling the adaptive display concept they have been working on at Lenovo Tech World 2023. The short clip shows the breakthroughs they have been making with AI and FHD+pOLED displays, which can be bent and shaped according to the user’s needs.

The wrist-phone feature first came into buzz in 2016 at the Tech World event. The latest prototype that is in the chatter has quite a few interesting features to offer, like a 6.9-inch panel when flat and a 4.6 inches reduced display when upright. The phone doubles up from a standard upright device to take the shape of a wristband, a table stand, and even a pyramid!

The comments section has gone berserk, with many claiming that this revolutionary tech could optimise mobile usage even more than foldable phones. — Vedant Karia
