Cinephiles, add ‘Manikbabur Megh’ to your July watchlist

Manikbabur Megh, written by National Award and Cannes Lion-winner Bauddhayan Mukherji, is all set to hit the theatres this July. An introspective film, Manikbabur Megh deals with a contemplative relationship between Manikbabu and a cloud. Surrealism is the main theme of the film, and the cast includes powerful actors like Chandan Sen (as Manikbabu), Debesh Roy Chowdhury (as Kali), Bratya Basu (as Dr. Sadhan), Nimai Ghosh (as Madhab), among others. The co-author of the script is the film’s director, Abhinandan Banerjee. Manikbabur Megh also has Anirban Bhattacharya as its presenter, and has a promo song titled Tomar Aamar Golpo sung by him. The film releases on July 12 in Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Noida and Gurgaon.
