Rohit Sharma breaks his silence on World Cup loss

The Indian Captain shared a vulnerable account of feelings that swayed him after the match against Australia

Besides the painful heartbreak, Indian cricket fans only had one question following the World Cup final loss last month. ‘Where is Rohit Sharma?’ 

The Indian captain had gone underground after the match, with fans showering love on his social media for leading the Indian team to one of their best performances in recent times. He recently shared an emotional video on Instagram, talking about how the loss had impacted him to a point where he didn’t know what to do for days after it. Rohit acknowledged how he always saw the ODI World Cup as cricket’s ultimate prize, making the loss even more painful. However, the Hitman also expressed pride in his team’s performance, and thanked fans for their constant support.
