Ira and Nupur’s white wedding in Udaipur is winning hearts

After an unconventional registry ceremony in Mumbai, newly weds exchange vows in a royal setting

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding pictures are taking over the internet and why not. The couple looked madly in love at both ceremonies in Mumbai and Udaipur. This Christian wedding style ceremony against the royal backdrop was a fresh sight for netizens used to seeing grand Bollywood weddings with sherwanis, lehengas and the full band baaja baarat.

While Aamir Khan’s daughter looked classy and royal at both functions, Nupur Shikhare chose to run to the Mumbai ceremony, and caused quite a stir on social media inviting many different reactions from praise to ridicule.  However, the groom had an emotional reason for his unconventional entry. “I used to run to Ira’s house so this route is emotionally special for me,” said the groom in a wedding video snippet.
