Many people won big at the Golden Globes this year, but none more than Mark Hamill, who ‘finally’ bumped into a long-lost (screen) family at the ceremony.

The actor, known for his incredible sense of humour, tweeted a picture with Natalie Portman from the ceremony, stating that he had finally met his ‘mother’. The quip is a reference to the Star Wars franchise, where Hamill played Luke Skywalker, and Portman played his mother, Padme Amidala. While Hamill was a part of the original trilogy, Portman starred in the prequel 20 years later, due to which they never had any scenes together. Fans couldn’t help but rejoice, as this reunion was long overdue.

Any takers for an animated spin-off about Luke and Padme, with Hamill and Portman voicing the characters?
