Malala meets ‘Top Gun’ star Tom Cruise at the Oscars luncheon

The young icon gushes over the meeting in her social media post

Malala has won our hearts and captured our attention for her epic endeavours. This time, she has intrigued us with pictures of her at The Academy Oscars luncheon. The 25-year-old Nobel laureate and changemaker posted snaps from the event, one of which was of her meeting with Tom Cruise — and Malala seems to have been elated with the meeting. She sure did have a gala time at the event as her captions makes it very clear: “An amazing day at The Academy Oscars luncheon with the incredible, hard-working team behind ‘Stranger at the Gate’ director Josh Seftel, Conall Jones and Smarty Pants Pictures. I am grateful and honoured to be in the room with all of this year’s nominees. I haven’t stopped talking about how I met Tom Cruise.”
