Meet this musical talent lighting up Kolkata’s Park Street

The City of Joy indeed has so many untold stories to tell

His name is Rishav Ghosh — a budding musician. And his penchant for music has resulted in something very interesting. Rishav is busking for audiences in Park Street near the iconic eatery Mocambo, with covers of popular songs. A digital creator named Suprotim Nandi recently spotted him in the city and recorded Rishav singing two well-known Bengali songs, Beche Thakar Gaan and Ei Srabon from Srijit Mukherji’s Baishe Srabon. Rishav’s Instagram handle, @ghosh.rishav is a treasure trove for music lovers, where he is documenting creations of other musicians too. The next time you are in Park Street and spot Rishav, do sing along with him and applaud his hardwork and dedication towards music.
