Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina are KJo’s ‘Jigra’

Karan Johar announced the film’s wrap, along with its release date on September 27

Over the years, Alia Bhatt has developed something of a Midas touch, and become one of the most dependable actors in Bollywood. Karan Johar excited fans with a peek of the actor’s next, Jigra, which recently wrapped shooting. The pictures show Alia gazing into the abyss with her on-screen brother, Vedang Raina, who is coming fresh off Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. In addition to starring in the film, Alia will also be sharing the producer-hat with Johar in this Vasan Bala directorial, which is centred around a special sibling bond. The surprises didn’t end, with KJo announcing the film’s release date — September 27.
