After missing out on their golden dreams at the Paris Olympics, India’s Men’s Hockey team made a remarkable showing in China during the Asian Champions Trophy. Beating the hosts 1-0 with a fantastic goal by Jugraj Singh giving India a victory in the finals. Winning the coveted trophy for the record fifth time, India asserted their dominance over the Asian Hockey circuit with Captain Harmanpreet Singh winning the Player of the Tournament award for his seven goals and brilliant captaincy.
