The first look of ‘Raktabeej’ promises to provide unique insight into the 2014 fire disaster in a Burdwan building

Dynamic director-duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprasad Mukherjee have unveiled the first look of their upcoming film, Raktabeej, a film on Puja, coming this Puja!

Based on a real-life incident from 2014, the film deals with the aftermath of a Burdwan building, which caught fire on Mahashtami. Upon inspection, it was revealed that the residents were making explosives. The movie deals with the speculation around the incident that gripped the state after the incident. Set to be a high-octane thriller, the film stars Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty and Victor Banerjee. The power-packed story will hit screens on October 20 this year, coinciding with the fateful day of shashti.
