The 90-year-old Goan store Braganza’s on Free School Street sells anything and everything musical! If you’re looking to buy string instruments such as guitars, ukuleles, mandolins and violins, or grand pianos and electric pianos, synthesizers or drum sets, head to Braganza’s. It stocks up on popular brands such as Fender, Hertz, PRS Guitars and Granada along with its own label True Tone, which specialises in electric and bass guitars, violins, mandolins and ukuleles. The store also has a facility to rent its instruments on a monthly or yearly basis, and Satyajit Ray and A.R. Rahman have both played on the keys that are rented out!
