Girish Chandra Dey and Nakur Chandra Nandy, one of the most renowned sweet shops in the city is merging traditional taste with queer rights to create a basket of rainbow sweets, to celebrate the Kolkata Pride Month. The shop on Ramdulal Sarkar Street is curating an assortment of sandeshes in different colours, akin to a rainbow. We find it hard to pick what we like more about — this endeavour, the thought behind it, or the taste!
