Chef Vikas Khanna is back with yet another novel, Imaginary Rain

Set to be a motion-picture, it will feature actress Shabana Azmi in a prominent role

Inspired by his ‘biji’ or grandmother, chef Vikas Khanna is back with a soul-stirring novel. Published by Penguin Random House India, Imaginary Rain is also set to become a motion picture, which will release later in the day. Michelin Star chef Khanna has been a writer of several cookbooks and novels that have resonated with the audience. The Last Colour, starring Neena Gupta has been adapted from his book by the same name and directed into a movie that won much accolades. Vikas Khanna is currently seen as a judge on Indian reality cookery show, Masterchef India Season 7.
