Grab a copy of the reissued version of ‘The Glass Palace’ by Amitav Ghosh
Which of the author’s books are you reading this year?
Are you a fan of Amitav Ghosh’s storytelling? Do you have a collection of his books in your library? Then the latest reissued version of his book, The Glass Palace, will interest you. Why, you ask? Because the book has been reissued by the Borough Press. To its credit, Borough Press has authors like Rebecca Kuang, Bella Mackie, Lionel Shriver, Chevalier, Emilia Hart and Bridget Collin associated with it. The cover of the book, with its lyrical form of art and the colour scheme catches the eye.
Ghosh took to Instagram with the reissued glimpse of his book and wrote, “Love this new reissue of 'The Glass Palace” from the Borough Press, with a wonderful introduction from the great Neel Mukherjee.”
If you haven’t read The Glass Palace, add it to your June reading list. Revisiting the story is always a great idea. Some of the books by the author that can be on your reading or re-reading list are: The Circle of Reason, The Shadow Lines, The Calcutta Chromosome, The Hungry Tide, Sea of Poppies and River of Smoke in fiction. In non-fiction, In an Antique Land, The Great Derangement: Climate Change and the Unthinkable, The Nutmeg's Curse: Parables for a Planet in Crisis and Smoke and Ashes: A Writer's Journey Through Opium's Hidden Histories, among others.
