Struggling to find your festive groove? Ed Sheeran’s latest medley is here to set the holiday mood. Dressed in a cosy jumper, guitar in hand, the English singer performed a Christmas acoustic medley while seated in front of a Christmas tree. Amusingly, he began the medley with his latest release, Under the Tree, written for the Netflix original That Christmas.

The song captures the bittersweet essence of the holiday season, written in collaboration with Johnny McDaid. It reflects on the loneliness felt without a cherished partner. With touching lyrics like “There is nothing under the tree that I wished for/I want you to come back to me,” Sheeran conveys the emotional weight of heartache during the holidays, making it an apt addition to Christmas music. After finishing the chorus of the new song, he seamlessly transitions into the chorus of Merry Christmas — his collaboration with Elton John — adding a more upbeat tone to the medley.
