The Nandy Sisters collab with Elnaaz Norouzi for a mashup

The girls sang ‘Sansana x Silsila Yeh Chahat Ka’ as a part of their 20th episode of #Gungunale

Who would have thought that the classic songs of San Sanana (from Asoka) and Silsila Yeh Chahat Ka (from Devdas) would seamlessly fall into place with each other? Well, the Nandy Sisters, Antara and Ankita did and they got singer and actor Elnaaz Norouzi on board as well. The reel starts with the three girls, dressed in maroon saris and intricate eye makeup luring the audience in with their voices. The moment they hit the first verse you get hooked as the three of them sing their parts while holding a diya in some frames. The use of the ukulele adds a character to the mashup, where neither the originality of the two songs are damaged nor is it a ditto copy. As a part of the Nandy girls’ 20th episode of #Gungunale, it was refreshing to see Elnaaz Norouzi lend her voice to the mashup. 

There is also a previous reel of the sisters playing a game called #GaanaKaunsaHai with Norouzi which posed as a promo for this banger of a mashup.
