Shekhar Ravjiani releases new song ‘Hello Soneya’

The single is his interpretation of ‘Hello’ by Lionel Richie — but with a Punjabi vibe

We have all heard Lionel Richie’s famous Hello, that never fails to create a romantic spark. But now, you're in for a treat as Shekhar Ravjiani released his version of the same song with a Punjabi vibe, calling it Hello Soneya. 

Hello was the first song Ravijani picked up at the age of eight, when he would practise on his piano and bring a smile to his parent's faces. Now, with this version, he’s putting a smile on ours. 

Singing with Akasa, the third track from Garuudaa on the Terrace Season 1 has a soulful sound keeping the romance and softness of the original alive. While Ravjiani has given us this song to enjoy, here’s a lookback at a few others the musician has released that can be re-added to our playlists.
