Indulge in the zesty delight of Kookie Jar’s new Italian Lemon Mimosa Pastry

Introduced recently, it’s the next best thing on the menu after the iconic Lemon Tart

The Lemon Tart has long been synonymous with Kookie Jar and given its success, and that it’s summer, the landmark confectionery has added a new lemon pastry to its dessert spread — the Italian Lemon Mimosa Pastry. The Italian classic features a light airy cake flavoured with Sicilian lemon cream. Available for more than a month now at Kookie Jar, you can pre-order an entire cake or pick up readily available pastry-size versions. The Mimosa Cake is often served to celebrate Women’s Day on March 8, as in Italy tradition calls for a sprig of Mimosa handed to women. “With the cost of chocolate soaring, we thought it was a good opportunity to explore other flavours. What better than lemon, which evokes the sunny sweetness of Sicilian summers?” said Puja of Kookie Jar.
