Make this Ed Sheeran-approved Misal Pav today!

Along with mesmerising audiences in Mumbai, Teddy tried his hand at Indian cooking for a Your Food Lab video

Ed Sheeran’s recent trip to Mumbai has been quite eventful. Not only did the British singer have everyone cheering at his Mumbai concert, he also struck a pose with Shah Rukh Khan, shook a leg with Armaan Malik, and sang in Punjabi with Diljit Dosanjh. 

Ed also seems to have had a great time off stage, enjoying some local street food. The singer, who might be returning for an India tour making a stop in Kolkata in 2026, joined Sanjyot Keer and fried up some Indian street food at the Your Food Lab kitchen. Teddy ditched the often spoken about vada pav and made Maharashtra’s other favourite pav dish — misal pav. 

A popular Maharashtrian dish and street food offering, misal pav is a spicy lentil and sprout curry — misal — that is topped with sev, chopped onions, coriander leaves and lemon juice , and served with soft pav.
