: ‘Thus I Converse With You…The Shiva Chapter’ at Gyan Manch on November 28

Creativity is a spiritual journey for kathak dancer Arunima Sengupta and her debut as a dance curator reflects that.

Thus I Converse With You…The Shiva Chapter also brings together two classical dance forms — solo performances by Sengupta (kathak) and Jalsa Chandra (Bharatanatyam) and a duet by Debashree Bhattacharya and Sohini Debnath (kathak). The performances will be followed by a panel discussion.

Sengupta, who has trained under Luna Poddar and Rajendra Gangani, is a recipient of the national scholarship for dance and heads Anweshan Centre of Arts in Kolkata.
