Do drop by at Altamira Art Gallery’s ‘Art-Life Carnival’, hosted by SawDesi
Various city-based brands and artists will exhibit their work over five days
SawDesi, from the house of Art Melange, is back with its latest showcase and purchase event after November’s exhibition at Gallery Gold in the form of ‘Art-Life Carnival’, which is being held at Altamira Art Gallery on Lake View Road (near Ballygunge Cultural Association) till December 30, with My Kolkata as digital partner. Eight different brands and artists will be displaying their work at the event, between 2pm and 8pm. This includes products related to paintings, apparel, jewellery, handicrafts, accessories and other knick-knacks.
The exhibition was inaugurated on December 25 by chief guest and senior sculptor Tarak Garai. Visual artist Atanu Paul is the special guest for the carnival, which is going to feature live performances involving beatboxing (December 26, 6pm onwards) and contemporary music (December 27 and 28, 6pm onwards). There is no entry fee for the event, which is also expected to welcome several city-based actors and performers.
